Which testing comes first – Regression or UAT?

Regression testing comes first and is performed before User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Regression testing is smaller in scope when compared to UAT. Regression testing is conducted by internal staff whereas UAT is performed by external staff, which includes end-users/customers/stakeholders.
